Notes: Some
people consider this line up as "Nektar II" as only Taff and Roye
remain. The album, a German Import, is certainly a departure from
their earlier prog-bound material. The guitars soar a bit less,
the keyboards breaks are shorter, as most of the songs are, and
the overall feel is more of a radio friendly vibe. That being said
there is still merit to this record. Roye is in fine voiced and
the band seems to be tightly focused throughout. Having seen them
a few times while in college this band seems similar, but just
not the same as you would have hoped. Still worth a listen or two
though. The front cover art is up to thier regular standards, but
the back cover photo just doesn't feel right, a little too cleaned
up and perky looking. gotta love that Gibson SG Roye is holding
though.
