Notes: This
British import was recorded over three days in February of 1973
at studio Dierks (Germany). The "live in the studio" intent
was to give their fans a taste of what a live show really sounded
like without the overdubs and remixes and I think they did a pretty
good job. Although it doesn't have the electric energy of an in
person live performance with Roye taking a stroll through the crowd
during a solo it's still full of the flourish and energy borne
of playing along with other musicians. A good record for both the
fan and the newly introduced. The cover is a mix of both graphic
work and photos of the signature light show produced by Mr. Brockett.
A 2 LP set worth looking up.
