Notes: Having
been a fan of the original Star Trek series I was a little
taken aback when the cast started making records. And this one's
a doozy. We get Mr. Nimoy's take on some folk tunes and ballads,
a Joni Mitchell tune and he's even listed on the credits for the
song "Consilium". While the singing is better than some
of the other records to come out (think "Mr. Tambourine Man" or "Lucy
in the Shy..."), but it's a good thing he kept his day job.
The cover collage of a peace sign, butterflies, Mr. Spock, flowers
and a bucking bronco (?) among other things just gives us a glimpse
of the depth of feeling inside this record.
