Notes: For Record Store Day 2014 Sire Records reissued this 10" blue vinyl pressing of the original 1980 four track UK EP. The sound is great and the song selection works well. The A side gives you the swagger of the street wise Ramones while the B side has Joey looking more toward the romantic end of the shelf. Shades of Beach Boys ballads crossed my mind while listening to Questioningly and the plantive tone of I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend and it further reinforced my opinion that the Ramones were at times overlooked for their song writing capabilities. As well as their ability to pull off a touching vocal or two. And the navy blue marbled vinyl is just an added attraction.
