Notes:  It's hard to believe that there was a time when the tunes on this record were new. Almost every song has gone on to become a stand-alone classic. Put together on one piece of vinyl they become an album that any self-respecting fan of rock and roll must own. The guys have discovered Bakersfield and the slowed down country sound of a slide guitar and crimson sunset. The inner sleeve has the Stones in their fashion victim 70's outfits while the front and back covers by Warhol, with the authentic metal zipper suggestively lowered to half-mast, has become an icon of the times. A great record from the Glimmer Twins and their mates.
