Notes: One
of Todd's finest works. It's a step or two away from his earlier
pop and Philly soul stylings (not that he completely tossed away
his past) and a varied ride it is. Synths and screaming guitars,
lilting melodies and gentle keyboards all make their appearance
in turn. Produced by Todd the record is put together well and flows
easily from one piece into the next. The cover art is a busy mix
of geometry, surrealism and an odd folk art feel. Many times has
this record taken a ride on the old Victrola. And there are still
more to come.
