Notes:  Coming out of Detroit Rare Earth played their own version of rock inflected R&B. The story goes that when recording this debut album the band ran a little short of material. Hence side 2's 21 minute 30 second recording of the Temptation's tune "Get Ready". And even as long as it is it doesn't get bogged down or overblown. Just keeps chugging right along. Many an hour performing air guitar to this record in my past. And side one isn't bad either with respectable versions of some good material. Now what do you suppose could be causing all of that smoke in the front cover photo?

Kenny James: Keyboards
Rod Richards: Guitar, Vocals
