Notes: According
to the liner notes these guys are, "the greatest and most
versatile group I've ever seen". Hyperbole aside this is a
pretty good record. The TV show "Where the Action Is" was
the vehicle for this group of fellows to entertain the masses.
Short lived, but they left a few nice tunes in their wake. I've
seen Mark Lindsay listed on various records over the years playing
with the likes of Donovan (there's a nice cover of "Catch
the Wind" here) and Jimmy Page. Diverse influences.
The cover photo brings us the boys in their glory; defenders of
freedom.
