Artist:   The Righteous Brothers

Title:  Back to Back

Date:  1966

Label:  Philles Records   SLP 4009

Notes:  The "brothers" belt out a slew of standards and classics here, I just wish I could hear them. I got home from the flea market with this one, the cover in perfect condition, only to find out it had the "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'" album inside. Alas, the nice clean-cut cover photo and the collection of B&W back cover shots makes up for the 25 cent investment. If you scan the list of players you'll see some great names mingling there. Carol Kaye, studio guitarist and bass player extrordinaire, Barney Kessel, jazz guitar and Julius (Baja Marimba and Martin Denny cohort) Wechter to name but a few. The tune "Ebb Tide" reached the UK chart position of 48 on January 13, 1966.
