Notes:  The number one jazz organist in the world is surrounded with fine talent here and makes good use of all aspects. The driving sounds of the keyboards are paced with the bright sax playing of Stanley while the deft hands of Kenny build their chords and melody riffs. The drums give a solid foundation on which the other musicians build their sonic structures. Even those not normally attracted to the sound of a jazz organ will be drawn to this record. The band is smoldering and threatens to flare up at any moment. The front cover photo is a very nice shot of Jimmy and his suitcase rolling into town, perhaps looking to hook up with some local talent for a gig or two. In depth liner notes from Del Shields are an added bonus.
