Notes: This
double LP contains both the album Spirit, released in
1968 and Clear which was released in 1969. A reintroduction
to the band as it were. Both records are strong and a good representation
of Spirit at thier core. Elements of rock and jazz are combined
to produce a sound that is uniquely that of Spirit. The front cover
photo is a bit unnerving (especially if one were under the influence
of some of the more popular substances of the time), but she looks
all better on the rear cover.
