Notes: I never understood the fuss about Boz until I heard this record. "Loan Me a Dime" has to be one of the all time great guitar songs. Of course, having Duane Allman along helps tremendously, but this is one of those cases where the total exceeds the sum of the parts. The whole record, recorded at Muscle Shoals, has a down-home feel to it. The cover photo is simple, but effective and the inner photos are an added bonus. If you only have one by Boz, dump Silk Degrees and pick up this one.
