Notes: This album is comprised of music taken from the original TV show with music composed by Lalo Schifrin. The ever-familiar TV theme is here, but it's the rest of the album that carries the day. Various styles to suit the different scenes capture the moods effectively and bring you into the story. To quote from the cover notes, "If you've seen Mission: Impossible you know the music's there - loud and in the foreground, not in the background, because Lalo Schifrin is the sixth member of the Impossible Mission Force". Who are we to argue? Great soundtrack album that could find a place in all of our collections.
