Notes:  While I've long been a defender of Sonny's talent, vocal prowess aside, the song selection here is a bit painful at times. The even a classic or two here. For all it is, A Cowboy's Work Is Never Done is still a great song. And where will you find a better divorce song than You Better Sit Down Kids. It has even been covered by Dennis Diken and Jim Babjak of The Smithereens. Cher can belt them out with the best when given the proper material and it happens here and there on this LP, but there's also some low points scattered about better left alone. Now the cover photos also beg discussion. The 70's weren't kind to anyone it appears. Look at those outfits on the front and exactly who did Cher's face for the back cover? Were the circles on the cheeks to give the appearance of a puppet or wooden soldier? Well, enough of that. If you like the dynamic duo you'll go for most of this. If you're not a fan just keep moving along.
