Notes:  Led by Bob Wheeler this band had worked with Roy Rogers and became part of the western film landscape. The tunes here are just what you would expect, and that's a good thing. Traditional takes on old favorites, but the guitars are crisp and the music swings right along. I bought this for novelty appeal, but the more I play it the more I like and respect it. The cover art shows us that this wasn't just music, this was entertainment. You got your nickel's worth with this group.
