Notes: Lounge
music at its best here folks. Just as the liner notes say, "Whether
you are sitting in a lounge in Reno, Tahoe, Las Vegas, Los Angeles,
Hawaii or you name it…the audience reaction to the Surfers
is invariably summed up in just one word: MORE". Of course
each of the settings referred to probably serves copious amounts
of alcohol and endorphin triggering food making the listener more
susceptible to music from the islands. Leaning a bit more to the
authentic Island music then your typical lounge act the boys are
able to retain the mood from start to finish. Very nice cover shot
of our heroes in their stage gear with a song on their lips and
love in their hearts. Back cover B&W shot gives us the fellows
in a lighter mood. Nice compliment to the Martin Denny and Arthur
Lyman records in your collection.
