Notes:  With three lead singers and a large vocal range the dog was a radio favorite of the seventies. Not ones to waste time writing original material the band draws on the strengths of established writers like Nilsson, Elton, Randy Newman, Laura Nyro and such. Pop music without the excessive treacle that other radio fodder of the time was coated with. And this might have been the first time my young self heard such blatant references  to a drug laced party and the down side of participation in such activities. Made me curious anyway. Tight rhythm section and minor leads keep the songs moving along without bogging down in extended ego padding. The cover art is a might bit puzzling, but the inner photos, both in and out of costume and the poster of the three singers show a little initiative and promotional savvy. Simpler times they were. The picture below with the orange tint was supposed to be a front cover photo, but after vendors deemed it inappropriate for display the record was pulled back.
