Notes: This is the debut album for Alvin Lee and Ten Years After. The record holds a few original songs mixed with an assortment of covers. A nice version of Al Kooper's "I Can't Keep From Crying, Sometimes" and Willie Dixon's "Spoonful" really set the stage for what was to come. His guitar chops up to snuff and with a band that could build a groove for him to ride upon Ten Years After went on to record numerous LPs in the classic British blues style. The hazy, unfocused front cover photo is uncerdited as is the black & white portrait on the back cover. My copy is a bit beat up from numerous parties back in the day, but it still plays and sounds fine.
