Notes: This album is made up of the author (and artist apparently) reading selected passages, singing songs and speaking poems. The first side consists of the "riddle scene" from The Hobbit. Some of the narration was recorded as early as 1952. This is an incredible find for Tolkien fans, to hear the man speak the words and loose the songs from his lips is a treasure to be remembered. The liner notes actually point the listener to the appropriate page and line in both the hard cover and paperback editions of the stories.
