| Artist: Tad Title: Loser Date: 1989 Label: Sub Pop Records SP55 Cover Art: Peter Bagge Snapshot by: Charles Peterson:
Notes: If you look close at the back cover you'll see that which is Tad in the background. I saw this band years ago at the Warfield Theater in San Francisco and the buzz on the floor was that Tad had engaged in a little stage diving the night before. Upon hearing this is seemed that the first few rows of fans near the stage all moved back a little that night. Alas, Tad never did launch himself onto the crowd, but the few false lunges he made were enough to cause a few group scatters. This record is sort of like that. Loud, angry, heaving and rolling along threatening to launch itself onto you and take you down hard. It's all good fun as long as that's what you had in mind when you signed up. The ever-popular Mr. Bagge turns in another classic piece of cover art for this single. Grunge at it's best.
