Notes: I found this live 2 album set at a flea market and wonder how I missed it the first time around. The artists featured represent a wide variety of styles and sounds. We get straight forward rock 'n roll, the progressive jazz of the Mahavishnu Orchestra, some blues, a touch of New Orleans, a little country feel, big electronic keyboards and on and on. A three day show held in Puerto Rico must have been a fine time for the musicians and fans alike. Although I would have liked to see some photos of the bands playing the gatefold cover give us a little glimpse of the people and the beaches. I wonder if the inner cover photo was taken during someone's set. A pretty cool find for a buck. |
