Notes:  Those familiar with Townes will recognize this as his last record on the seventies and he didn't record another for almost ten long years. A nice group of players and the typical Townes easy going style. Never one for getting all worked up, he prefers to sing his songs and tell his stories and let the audience glean what they will. His personal demons and habits finally got the better of him a few years back. He is missed. The cover photos capture a simple man amongst simple surroundings. A nice addition to any collection. I found this promotional copy at the flea market for a buck, it was a good day.
