Notes: The Femmes call in a nice group of friends to assist with this, their third record. Although it still sounds like the Femmes, there's a bit more bite to this one. Tight production as a result of working with Jerry Harrison (Talking Heads), seems to suit the fellows and they slip right into a fine T. Rex cover ("Children of the Revolution") as though they've owned it for years. Interesting cover portraits and a surreal back cover photo hold it all together.
