Creed Taylor decided it would be a perfect fit to take Kai and
his trombone sound to Nashville and marry it to the modern country
tunes of the time. Touching on Johnny Cash, The Carter Family and
other grand names of country Kai and his sidemen and singers do
a bright little trot through the charts and try to stir up a little
dust. If you like Kai you should enjoy his take on the some country
classics. The car on the front cover is an absolutely bitchin'
1965 Mustang 2 + 2. And I'll be it goes like a bat out of hell
too.
