Artist:  The Who

Title:  Sell Out

Date:  1967

Cover Artwork: Unknown

Label/Number:  Decca    DL74950

Notes:  From the wonderful photos on the cover to the AM radio style presentation of the music within, this is a classic.  The songs and advertisements blend into a seamless mixture of tongue in cheek satire and typical Who intensity.   The latter is shown in the wild drumming of Mr. Moon on "I Can See for Miles".  While there aren't many of the Who standards on this one, all fans of the lads should give this disc a good listening. And you'll even hear a plug for Rotosound Strings (...hold your group together with...).

Line Up:

Pete Townshed:   guitars, vocals

Roger Daltry: vocals

John Entwhistle: bass, vocals

Keith Moon: drums, mayhem
