Notes: While
few of the songs from this very early Yes record have made it into
regular set list rotation they still remain relevant to the body
of work by the band. Anderson's vocals, as usual, soar above the
music and the instrumentation is tight and precise. The listener
can hear the seeds of future albums from this early effort. A gathering
of unique talents which combined to give us many hours of musical
contentment. And it's got a pre-Dean cover too. Very rare indeed.
One other bit of info (which came to me via e-mail) is that although Steve Howe appears on the cover he does not play on the record. Peter Banks left the group and was replaced by Howe prior to the records release. |
