Artist:  Neil Young & the Bluenotes

Title:  This Notes For You

Date:  1988

Cover Design:  Glenn Parsons

Photos:  Bob Scott (cover) / Christine Cragg (inner sleeve)

Notes:  Neil with dark glasses and a tie, what'll they think of next?   Neil's music is always a reflection of what he is interested in at the time.   From soft ballads to hard grunge to this outing as a horn backed jump band.   And swing they do.  "Ten Men Workin' " is a standout, but the complete package is worth the price of admission.  The cover photo has a "late night, inner city" look to it and it suits the smoky gin joint setting of the album.

Line Up:

Neil Young: guitar and vocals

Chad Cromwell:  drums

Rick (The Bass Player) Rosas: bass

Frank (Pancho) Sampedro:  keyboards

Steve Lawrence:  lead tenor saxophone

Ben Keith:  alto saxophone

Larry Cragg:  baritone saxophone

Claude Cailliet:  trombone

John Fumo:  trumpet

Tom Bray: trumpet
