Notes: A
two album German import set with an interesting mix of personnel
and musical choices. We get a bit of Johnny Guitar Watson as well
as Steve Vai. There's humor, sarcasm and even a touch of doo-wop.
An an incredible live version of the Allman Brothers anthem Whippin'
Post. There's not much you
can say about Frank; some love 'em, some hate 'em. I'm one of the
former. He may have gotten annoying on occasion, but he never got
boring.
