Notes: An
early Donovan album on the Hickory Records label (Nashville Tenn.)
which presents the folk roots of our troubadour and friends. The
liner notes relate the tale of a young lad leaving school to travel
about and play miusic wherever he could. A pass of the hat and
he moves on to another place. He cuts a few tapes and the
rest is history. Sometimes sweet, sometimes cynical, but
always Donovan. This one's a real find. There is no
information as to the identity of the cover photographer, but both
shots nicely capture Donovan and guitar.
