From the D.C. area Robert migrated north to N.Y. and brought a love of 50' rockabilly sounds with him. Over time he's managed to play with the best, Link Wray, Chris Spedding and Bruce Springsteen to name a few. I believe that Robert was the first to record Bruce's song "Fire" and a great version it is. Robert's voice and stage presence and his ability to attract such a high caliber of musician combine for a joyful noise. And the cover are a nice reflection of the music and the style that was happening.
