Stepping out from behind the vibes with Martin Denny's band Arthur went on to lead his own outfit. Always with an ear toward the exotica of the islands Arthur's gentle arrrangements and talented accompianists blend to melt your stress away after a hard week at the office. Arthur seemed to find sidemenn who could double on many instruments so that the arrangements could be more open. Similar to Enoch Light, Arthur was always interested in what could be done with the stereo aspects of the recording. So mix up a Mai Tai, light the torches and settle in for swinging weekend.
