Artist:  Sarah Vaughan

Title:  Sweet, Sultry and Swinging

Date:  195?

Label Spinorama Records  M-73

Design:  Sam Suliman

Notes:  A very nice collection of material from the "Divine Sarah" on a small label. I'm assuming that this record represents songs taken from various releases over the course of Sarah's career. The lady had a way with words. He inflection and phrasing have always seemed to me to be the best part of her performances. The cover graphics are simple, but taken together they make for an attractive grouping. And to make it even more special this cover was appropriated by none other than Satan's Pilgrims for their 1995 release entitled, "Soul Pilgrim". I love it when something familiar turns up in the most unexpected places. Like the cover says, "Sweet…"
